XPD are delighted to announce that the 2011 XPD Group Conference will take place on the 7th and 8th October 2011 at the prestigious Belfry Hotel in the West Midlands.
The conference will feature a number of new initiatives, thought-provoking content, interactive sessions for members and an exhibition for supportive suppliers. With the Belfry offering some of the best golfing facilities in the country, members will also be invited to bring their clubs for the XPD Golf Challenge.
David Langdown, XPD Managing Director says: “There is a huge amount that members can take away from the conference, but perhaps the most overlooked element is the informal networking. There are very few opportunities for dealers to get together with each other to share their experiences. They often face similar opportunities and challenges, and the chance to discuss them with like-minded colleagues and through collaboration to create solutions is invaluable. The 2011 conference will have a strong focus on networking and collaboration, but you’ll hear more of that later!”
“We hope that members will make the effort to attend this year’s conference. We appreciate that they are under economic pressure, and time is precious, but we have no doubt that if they do attend, they will find it worthwhile.”
That is a view shared by member, David Mallyon of The AP Group. He said: “I’m a bit embarrassed to admit that despite being a member for many years, I had not attended our Group Conference until 2010. I didn’t expect to get much value from it, but in fact it was absolutely great and I will be bringing several members of my team this year.”
